Waking up in the hospital confuses you; they tell you it was a drunk driver, but everything’s just a blank. In the night, a strange child whispers words that make no sense, horrific things cloud your vision, and you’re starting to think it isn’t just a bad reaction to the painkillers. You’ve become part of a game, with the prize being godhood, but you’re fairly sure that’s not a good thing at all.
Bodies Are Disgusting is my first finished novel. Its origins are straightforward: I wanted to read a modern Lovecraftian horror story which featured queer protagonists and a heavy dose of body horror, but was having very little luck finding such a thing. So I wrote it.
If body horror, Lovecraftian horror, or queer horror interest you, Bodies Are Disgusting is right up your alley. It is available from the following retailers: Amazon
